Meet the directors Lacie & Jadey Roberts:
The Roberts sisters were born and raised in Adelaide and began dancing at the age of two, training in all genres of dance. From a young age they were passionate about dance and strived for a career in the performing arts industry. A lifelong dream of Lacie’s came true when she took a contract to dance at the “Moulin Rouge” in Paris. Performing in “the world’s most famous cabaret,” was a highlight in her career. Similarly, Jadey has an abundance of experience dancing on television and at corporate events. Lacie and Jadey share a true passion for teaching dance and have been fortunate enough to share their knowledge through multiple workshops and teaching opportunities around Australia. They love sharing their knowledge and passion to the next generation of dancers.

Child safe Policy:
At LJR Dance Academy our child safe policy is to stay dedicated to creating an environment where children can dance free from any harm, danger or abuse. This ensures that our staff and volunteers comply with the responsibilities under The Children and Young People (Safety) Act 2017 (SA) and Child Safety (Prohibited Persons) Act 2016 (SA). The staff at LJR Dance Academy understand the importance of building trust with the students, to allow for every child/young person to feel comfortable in expressing concerns or unsafe feelings. At LJR Dance Academy, we ensure that all teachers and staff have been screened in accordance with The Department of Human Services. If LJR Dance Academy staff are suspicious of abuse or neglect, a director will then report to the Child Abuse Report Line (13 14 78). If believed that a child/ young person is in immediate danger, a report will be issued to SA Police. If a person is being charged/investigated for an offence regarding abuse/neglect to a child/ young person, they will be asked to leave the premises until cleared. Please note that LJR Dance Academy will continuously coheir with legislative changes and amend our actions accordingly.
